christmas fishing is not very effective, I tried some questing but it's even more difficult to finish with rivers and claims

I've spent over 3hrs fishing over the last couple of days and just ended up with a huge pile of fish and some rubbish, no presents from that or beach trash but I've had a gift box for every quest that I've completed so that's definitely the way to go. :)

My quests are half way across the map now but I don't find it difficult, you can usually find a narrow spot on rivers to swim across if you are using a lowly alt, there are plenty of abandoned boats around and road sign crossings. Just grab clovers as you see them for riding the wild horses across land.

The claim business is an issue but just abandon those ones and work on the new quest givers. :)
