Then I have a few tips for you. Try to find island little wider. That one did not allow me to build gates against house door and as a result one day I lost my fancy bed because some unknown bed-hater destroy it.
And cellar is capacious enough to accommodate couple of carts with all liftable tools (and even some animals

), but construction of furnaces impossible here. One mine hole could solve this problem, but it requires absolutely flat 2x2 space and flattening near water is impossible.
