Oh, I remember you talking about how little difference food efficacy means... indeed

I just don't get why people don't simply eat foods with the FEPs they want to restore energy or eat FEP neutral foods. I mean if you're a group with the resources to contentiously be working on projects that expend huge amounts of energy over they entire run time of the world then surely it would be trivial to access all different kinds of foods.

But if you do want to, down to calculating over every 0.01% of hunger and FEP, Min-Max in the absolute most efficient possible thats your choice to deal with the extra hassle and you will be rewarded for your effort. By an amount thats worth the extra effort? Up to you really.

His point was, your stats are terrible, which kind of undermines any anecdotal argument you make about the food system. For comparison, I play in a way people like him would call 'casual', doing everything on my main (I only have an alt to hold the key to my gates and no alts beyond that), only doing quests when I feel like it (and generally being in the 100% range as a result), and trying to balance my stats equally. (I also play with a very small group (only two others besides me, and they're more casual than me) which gives me a notable resource disadvantage compared to large factions which are central in the debate about the hunger system.) These are my current stats:

My unbuffed stats significantly outclass your buffed stats in all areas even though I'm not specializing my character like you are. Now consider that the gap between the stats of large faction players and mine is even much bigger than the gap between our stats, and I hope you'll understand why your personal experience is not at all representative of the impact the hunger system has on large faction players.

Well maybe it makes more of a difference than I gave it credit for.

However the hunger system obviously can't be all that much of an issue for them if they're that far ahead now can it? XD Min-Maxing is hard and tedious because its supposed to be. You get what you put in.

Regarding Cole's suggestion though even if you could eat without gaining hunger or FEP I still suspect people would labor alt, because it would still be more effecnt to do so as you would not waste any food. Really you could just have an alt you don't care about the stats to eat any garbage that has high energy.
