I do believe the restore should be consistent with how things were as of the patch yesterday, so you shouldn't be worse off than you were then.

Same story here mate, about 14 hours of mining out under a brand new mine hole, palisading it all in, even found a base to raid. Least i get a free redo even if it takes another fourteen hours
