I'd never release an update under even lesser pressure. If it is an attack, and if it is pressure to release a new world, then I suppose it is going nowhere and we won't see it anytime soon.

They are clearly trying to postpone the release of W13 and make W12 last longer, dont give in to the terrorists! If you postpone you will show them that they can always just DDOS to get what they want!

I implemented one of the countermeasures I spoke of yesterday, and while it seems to have had some effect, it doesn't exactly seem to have solved the problem entirely. I'll consider what to try next.

Yea, yesterday it was impossible to even login, though with all the recorded requests/action taken on the server by that guy should you not have an idea who it is? like this sort of thing is illegal anyway.

Depends how the attack is performed.
Likely it is performed by some large botnet or such, which the attacker has either paid to use or just has access to. (Thus making usage free!)
Its pretty much impossible to find who is behind it, because the devices in botnets could be relatively innocent peoples toothbrushes, routers etc.
