I havent looked at purus pasta bots code, but can old bots api be artificially deprecated with the update, so old client would require some kind of complete rework like with the Amber client right now? i havent slept for two days so my text may be inapprehensible

There seems little point to design an entirely new protocol just to annoy bot writers for a few days. As long as the core mechanics stay the same, the actual scripts (for farming, silk, cheese etc.) wouldn't even need to be changed, just the APIs themselves.
And it's not like those are responsible for the DDoS going on.

I think the attacks can be easily stopped.
Just enter global reset = W 13
It may not solve the problem, but it will give you plenty of time to take new steps.
Snail will want to cheat again and will not have time for DDOS

Isn't resetting the world worst thing to do?
What would happen if there are hundreds of players online, excited to play on the new world and then the server is being constantly dossed.
Its odd to think that the dosser would want w13 anyway. Maybe he DOESNT want W13, but instead see the game die and w12 continue to eternity.

reset world before fix DDoS problems = best idea
other problems fixed before reset would be awesome too

Anyone else have a refresh problems? My minimap is not working, can wait few minutes for load chunk, some objects are missing, its so long for show me made survey/mining. Its not like lags, cos i dont have any problem with character move.

"Cause the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because" got that message when I logged in also havenandhearth.com is super slow loading and my game launcher although custom client is taking forever to load and my friend who lives 40 minute car ride away is lagging hard as well. EDIT clicked login again and got "premature end of input"
