It's god-aweful honestly. But I'd rather stick with no inheritance and speed up progression than fuck with inheritance ever again.

I think thats more likely. Jorb said he sorta agrees with it anyway ages ago. Also said ancestor worship will come back.

So maybe we will see ancestor worship give 200% LP gain buff or something.

The way delta works right now, if I have FOURTY unarmed and quick dodge up, and an ANT attacks me (ants have like 5 UA), he'll take out more than half of my defense. Which compounds with number 3:

Agree, i made a post about it here viewtopic.php?f=48&t=42408

All you really need is to pump agi.

It really debases the pvp in this game.

Feels like most people simply just dont care about PvP, i dont even think the devs are too concerned about it.

Ho boy. Ancestor worship was a weird ass system. Wonder what they're going to do with it. Keep it about Ex characters or whatever.

I kinda want "religion" to be done at a village level rather than a personal one tbh.

Interesting. Almost like the primary "fun" of the endgame is supposed to be building nice things, and pvp less so (or just a tool to enable the former, rather than the other way round).

I don't particularly care about pvp, as long as it facilitates the things it is intended to, like raiding, justice/defense against raids, and fighting over high quality resource spots. I enjoy playing with combat systems but I don't really like killing people.

Having said that I don't like alts for roleplay reasons so i dunno...

You're reading way too much into this current mechanic imo. Jorb loves chaos, saying pvp isn't meant to heavily weigh into endgame does not seem to suit his character well.

Delta caps are retarded. I was using a 1 UA alt in a spars against a villager with 80 UA and punching him for half a defense card. If this is the intended mechanic i don't even see a point in investing anything into a character for combat. I'll forage with my forage alt with autohearth that will never die and swarm people with 1 UA rage alts in traps. This worlds pvp has a bright future ahead of it.

Came here to laugh at the guy who said melee didn't need to be nerfed.

I can run around with a new char, 20 ua, pumped up agility, and chop with a sword, and if I have a friend doing the same thing, we'll kill ANY character on this server 2v1. Any main. Anyone.
Tell me that is balanced. Almost possible by just yourself too.

Time invested is simply running to base, eating all agi with your initial hunger bar, and one round of curios to pump up ua to 20.

There is nothing else to do endgame, why is pvp so poorly fleshed out?

Not really people with decent con high agi and good armor can easily take several blows from steel swords so its more that people are focusing offense then defense I feel and not only that if they time a block on your chop your screwed.
