No foreal, i have no idea what he's trying
to communicate there... I think he means
using defensive cards while not in combat,
however that's retarded so i think not... It's
a struggle. Anyway a better alternative is
to simply have a 1 second delay before you
can use cards against a foe you've just
engaged. This allows you to queue up cards
that are used at the same time. Defensives
take priority

human being
to respond in
time to their
aggressor at
all, whether
that's a bad
thing per se
is arguable
but botting
programs
will still have
an advantage
in such a
scenario.

Then make it 2 seconds, easy

The alternative with the suggested idea that
i shot down is this : I make a robot that plays
the game for me. It always has all my defense
cards up, and it will fight back when if i am
to be attacked.

Now i make 10 of those bots and put them in
a cave outside your base with an added bit that
auto aggro's anyone not in party and kills them.

???

Play more Counter-Strike, train better reflexes.

If you're expecting an attack it makes sense you'll be ready to get your defense up, if you've got your thumb up your ass while you're pluckin' flowers in the field and something suprises you, well.. Thats what a suprise is.

The most simple solution would be to make players start combat with some defensive move up. Maybe not even those we have available already, but a special defensive move of all 4 (or 3, minus red) colors, with unlimited duration. In Legacy players started with their defense bar full.
