Imo, the salem-KO mechanic is literally the worst update this game has ever had. The whole point of H&H was how easy it is to die. Now you need to literally run out in the middle of a battlefield, get knocked out, hearth home, run back to the battlefield, and get killed. Unless you're incredibly unlucky and someone gets a lucky high-damage shot on you while you had low health.

I'd do anything to have it put back to W7's death system. I liked having to start over basically from scratch. It makes you value your character more, and be more cautious. But this current system...it honestly disgusts me. Don't listen to all the people whining they died and do something like this, if you go back to the original, losing-nearly-everything-upon-death system, the whole system this game was built around, then the only people who will stick with the game are absolute loyal-to-death players like me. Haven & Hearth isn't Haven & Hearth without severe punishment for death, and extremely easy and quick death.

Please, don't implement some new wound system, that takes hours and then days and even weeks to heal yourself, just make us die. The main reason i still love play legacy (Or would if i didn't have this satellite.) is because it's death system is utterly perfect for me. If people don't like ACTUALLY LOSING SOMETHING from death, go find something else to play.

Please...give me back my favorite thing about this game. The thing that made H&H my favorite game of all time. :(

After the optimizations of course! Otherwise that'd be pointless because i couldn't play! :D
Total misplay.

I'd prefer real death too, but it just doesn't work with infinite character development. Caps plox :3

Y'know, i've always been up for one char per account, and/or accounts cost 15$ with a cap of 5-8 chars, and anyone who bought $10-15 worth of stuff in the store gets a free account. (With all subs and hats they previously bought.) Think about it, it'd work flawlessly with a real perma-death system, and it'd also 100% COMPLETELY kill alts and bots. (Unless people feel like buying more accounts, and i'm perfectly fine with that. MOAR MONEY FOR OUR JORBTAR OVERLORDS.) Kill two birds with one stone!

Uh, no, what i mean is pay for the game like any other normal game. P2P/P2W is having to make weekly-monthly payments forever to keep playing.

Money = advantage means pay 2 win

Very, very few people would do this. And the main advantages from alts/bots is when you have a literal unlimited supply of them. Hundreds of alts digging 24/7 is an incredible and unfair advantage, one extra wandering alt isn't much. And besides that still isn't P2P/W. P2W/P means you HAVE TO pay a ton of money in order to do ANYTHING, but regardless of bots and alts you can still always do everything and anything you want in this game.

Also i simply stated i was up for and ready for this, not that i actually want and think they need to do it. First and foremost i just need the hardcore W7 perma-death that i loved back.

That's the point. A few with an advantage is worse than everyone with the same "advantage".

linkfanpc wrote:P2W/P means you HAVE TO pay a ton of money in order to do ANYTHING

No it doesn't. P2W and P2P aren't the same thing. P2P is when you pay to play the game, P2W is when you pay to get an advantage, and, well... Win. That's where the "pay to win" comes from. Not sure why I'm even talking about "Pay to win" to someone who doesn't even know what it means.
