What the game actually needs are better ways for players to protect themselves against those types of threats.
I agree. Pvp is a cancer and it should be removed from the game. Or, at least, vandalism and claimbashing disabled for the time reasonable spruce cap can put up a dried palisade, i.e. 5 days
or made significantly more expensive
or maybe the issue is that in this world, everything is faster
idk. id personally remove pvp

Everything that is not behind a dry palisade wall should just be considered "Okay to lose" things that you need to require like dried hides/tanning tubs should be dotted about in multiple locations, if you don't have back ups to your backups you are not preparing yourself for the worst. Your first cave claim MIGHT be left alone, but don't take that risk. easy. Nothing but your characters hide/leather maybe study desk is worth anything so don't worry about it. crack on with it. Move away with your developed characters and try over, it will work out for you. it looks like you are played with a fairly sizable group you should totally have the ability to make multiple cave claim bases.

Palisades also take a good amount of time to become unbashable. It’s less about being able to make invincible walls fast (which would make griefing worse) and more about avoiding detection. Only monkeys level and pave before pali
