Hey all, I haven't posted here in a while but I'd like to announce my stream on Monday

I was recently invited to become a Twitch Affiliate and so I'm going to try to start streaming on Mondays and Tuesdays (since that's the time of the week when I have the least amount of coursework due)
Twitch affiliates get access to 1 custom emoticon (mine is pending clearance from Twitch atm) and a sub button so I'd like to try to keep that status if I can


I will begin by streaming Episode 3 of The Walking Dead by Telltale Games on Monday, July 10th at 4pm PDT
Later on in the stream I also plan to log on to Haven to do some sort of giveaway.

Currently I am not all that interested in Haven, but I have considered starting fresh in Legacy if that is content that people would want to see (let me know)

Then they get bored and leave the game ... it's always the same discussion, this game is more about the journey, not to "win" ... costums take away all the excitement.
Makes no sense having alerts, hide stuff options, auto aggro, bots .... and all the shits when they will leave the game pretty soon ... much better if they discover the game by their own, make mistakes, die and try to recover ...etc...

Btw pls don't suggest costums to new players, it's the best way to ruin their experience. Let them discover the game, then if they keep playing they will eventually discover by their own about costums the same.

lul if I were a new player and nobody informed me custom clients exist and I had to work with the clunky unplayable default client and had no alerts so if I don't pay attention for 15 seconds I could get knocked the fuck out by a bear or something, I'd just quit the game instantly.

I think you're really projecting your own experience and making it seem like everyone feels the same way. Take a chill pill, buddy, you might find excitement in being tortured by a game but for us non-masochist folks custom clients don't take away excitement, they take away tedium.

Also weren't you warned by mods to stop trying to vigilante-censor people talking about custom clients in front of new players? Just stop it.
