Lel, i usually get it on the first try. Sometimes i need to try once more.

They really need to get rid of this, it's horribly dumb.

Or at least make it so when the firebrand is 10+ (for using a good axe to split the block or from good Q trees) it is certain that it will last enough to light at least one fire.

If you're still having issues with firebrands in world 9, you're doing something wrong. Craft a torch, build a Fireplace, light the Fireplace when you start playing and use it to light the Torch whenever you need to light something. Saves you tons of stamina and frustration.
