I think it definitely serves a purpose in "slowing things down" so to speak. But I agree, the system is by in large circumventable with a large enough support base. I'm not saying its perfect but I definitely like the idea.

Not only that but if you're doing it correctly you're getting 25% MORE fep than most players when you reset your satiations properly to be 125% and this is especially important for the "Food" satiation which again can be easily done if you have the quantity available.

As soon as you have the 4 drinks to kill them off you're basically free of them, before that they're no fun either.
