Same. I've been trying to find a way to get my avatar onto my shield in a way that doesn't look horrible, but that circle keeps ruining the image so I still have a default shield.

Why don't you use this opportunity to let us craft a different shield type like suggested above, such as tower shields? Stop removing features instead of adding them please.
