I've done all of my hunting with 5mm, It can be done with 1mm. I'll add a blurb to the OP about MM levels.

But if we are speaking about situation where one doesnt have ua leveled, is it even possible to hunt purely with mm?

Completey! The guide works with 1mm, 1 ua with 10 strenth.

Stats make everything easier and allow room for error though.

Correct, shooting arrows from a boat will not fire them out of the boat and consume them; wasting the arrow.

That's wrong.. Been shooting from boat all night ones hotting most things...Although about 3 arrows plop down for each animal

Could you post proof? I tested this day 1 and no arrows ever fired properly, after about ~20 attempts.

I have witnesses maybe I was bug shooting somehow? I'll get a video tonight

So what's the easiest way to hunt right now? With 6 MM I pretty much miss all my arrows on animals (not sure how long you have to charge, I usually waited like 30sec-1min to be in the green), and finding a good cliff near an animal can be a chore. Anyone discovered any new good ways to hunt?

The deer around us seem to have less than 180hp... we were thinking we would need two shots to kill them but turns out they go down with just one. I guess thats a function of how close you are to the center of the map/how many ppl are in your area?

Edit: to grable, if you're interested we are hunting foxes and deer by going right up to them on their "long side" and shooting point blankwihtout aiming too much - you can do this at 1MM. Obviously this wont work for hostile animals, and I expect the non-hostile animals will get patched so they react to your presence (like bunnies).

Foxes and deer will retaliate to this if you spend time aiming.

That hasn't been our experience at all... You're saying animals notice if you point a bow at them? Or could you clarify?
