It's basically undeground Pine then :P
3 logs, 50 blocks, slow to grow... :P Maybe it produces a lot of tar too, if you're willing to check that sometime :D

It might look cool but it does not look that useful. If you want to go to the another house you have to go around them. If doors would just be on opposite of each other. You would only have to walk a few tiles.
