If only I could dig out the number of threads potjeh has made over the years about smoking and curing meats....
And to the post above: why isn't sausage a meat dish? Tastes pretty meaty to me unless it's a vegetable sausage, and I don't think I've ever seen one of those (well, not until all the "tofurkey" and other fake meat foods hit the market).
I was just going by the game's categorization, since sausages aren't under the "meat dish" section of the crafting menu.
