People don't like it when you change the metagame they enjoy already.

Its not that. In other worlds i've met really strong hermits who were able to do the same as top fighters because of their dedication. Even them werw nothing against an army, and that its logical.
A single guy can kill bears and mamooths but cant stand against 3 or 4 guys and this shall not change for the sake of this game context and history.
One man army its expected in a MOBA not in haven.
Politics are suposed to solve the leak that seems to worry you. Join other people and become greater.
Its in our hands and in our brains to make possible the end of DIS or any other top faction.
Of course the game can be more balanced, but it must not be sacrificing the personality of haven.

Heh something I just feel like they don't care about feedback from people that are actually playing this game, they will just make changes proposed by Amanda ... blah, blah, blah

Forgot to add yesterday ... I'd argue that I 'actually' play a damn sight more of this game than you do, I also know the fighting system well enough to have no issues with hunting or taming, I'm just not the least bit interested in grinding a combat char and then running around in groups spoiling the game for everyone else!

I play this game to have fun, it is a game after all.

I accept that fun for you is making a combat char and fighting, I get that, I don't try and tell you how much you are missing out on or that you don't know how to play the game or shouldn't be here because you don't play it fully ... The reason I don't like pvp here has nothing to do with whether it's too hard or not, if I wanted to do pvp I'd learn to, just like I have learnt everything else in the game,

I get 'my' fun from the other aspects of the game, creating something from nothing, creating something I'm proud of, (larping in my hermitage, lol) for raising q and stats by myself, slowly but surely ... ... by socialising with other players, from projects, like my peaceful realm last world, helping and encouraging new ppl to learn to play and stick around even after defeat and to be honest, even doing a bit of farming or mining is fun in that it is relaxing after a long day at work and gives me time to breathe!

The fact that this game has more to offer me than death and destruction is why I am here and also why countless others play the game and stay in spite of the risks from players like you who care less about those other parts of the game.

Incidentally, it's a good job there are other players who are more interested in the all the numerous other things the game has to offer rather than focusing on pvp and grinding out combat chars or else who would you have to raid and kill?

Oh and btw, I also have not hermitted (exclusively) since w5, though I do always have a hermitage somewhere in game. Running a hermitage and doing everything for yourself is not an easy task, you wouldn't downplay hermits half as much if you ever had to do it!

Nah. Ozzy is one of the ones that knows how to do it. I've seen enough of his posts. Whether he elects to help with the farming, mining, and crafting.... /shrug
