There is filler food in game that hardly fills hunger, like rat on a sitck for example. Also tea, tea is king. Especially since you can drink it from flasks or buckets now.

Haven't had much luck so far in acquiring tea will look into slaughtering hordes of rats though, could be a welcome break from hunting and not finding any curios! Cheers for the tip.
