Ya I guess so, you need to make a Loom which (at least in legacy haven) needs Basic Mechanics to show up in your build tab.

for them to be good you gotta have some high q dice for a good payoff

Glimmer seems to spawn only in caves. 48*50 finding em quite often now. 10/10/38 is 5355. They consume fast so it's an extremely good curio.
