Back in the days, when there was more than 3 factions, a lot of action everyday, long ass posts about things that happened. That was fun. Because, no matter how and what happened (a betrayal, gank, massive industry, whatever) it was the social interaction. Now, there's almost none of it.

That's not true. I started playing early W5, not sure if on this account, and there was still quite a lot going on. Same thing about early W6. W7 was completely abandoned by devs, no updates or even bugfixes, so a lot of people stopped playing, and W7 was garbage for most of it.
