If you are at the start go right, then right click the guy for your name and right click the fire.

I logged in, and spawned as a purple ball in a river.

I can't move, and I don't see any 'camp fire'. Did I somehow bypass the character creation room? Halp

If you can't move - re login.
Start moving forward, you will see.
