Don't use a boat

I made the mistake of using a boat, and when the server crashed and I signed back on it disappeared and I logged in, in the water and drowned. It's kind of a shitty feeling.
Also now that this game costs money per hour (or month), can I get some more time on my account or my character back because I died from a glitch?

Ouch. Thanks for informing us. The hard life of pre alpha :/ If it makes you feel better most of us have played your hours and still cant make boats :p

I tabbed in earlier to a boar chasing me lol... So fun fact. You cant outrun them at second to last speed on grassland anymore (now you go same speed. so no hope lol :p)

I was doing pretty good for starting though, I had an itsy bitsy, a backpack, a boat and I was finding areas without hearths near by.
Good to know about the boars though, I'll avoid them like the plague.

This sort of thing is "common wisdom" among the vets, but a lot of newer players might miss it. Just don't boat (or swim for that matter) when the server is acting up.

As for refunds of any kind... good luck with that.

I spawned an inheritance character near by and my body had disappeared within 10 minutes. Also it seems that inheriting only seems to spawn you near by, and nothing else.
Yeah from what I have heard around here I'll need a lot of 'luck' to get anything back after being glitched.
Also, I'm not exactly a newbie.. I have just never bothered to post on forums. I mostly lurk around here.

You'd be better off posting in one of the dev made threads on the subject or making a new topic for this question. It's unlikely the devs will see this question buried in a topic about boats.

Once you start taking real money that "i'ts alpha, no reimbursements for bug" thing doesn't really work anymore.

Every software (not only games) has a 'no reimbursements for bug' EULA clause.
