Getting viable proof has not been an issue for a long time with this matter.
The problem is the inability or lack of will to do it.

If this is true, why entertain someone who's primary goal seems to be to actively kill a game by driving away the playerbase? I understand that Snail, if he is, in fact, doing this, likely has motives of his own, including forcing the devs to make changes he prefers, but I can't see how motivations matter, nor really how a player has a real say in the development direction, ultimately. That's playing in bad faith, and it isn't good for a community.

Just in case anyone actually doubted, the only botting related to what happens in the chat is a chat bot. Regardless of what botting is actually going on, it is not actually reflected in the chat.

Incidentally, is the server clock still ticking? If this DDOS continues long-term, won't many players start losing animals, etc.? That certainly will drive away more people.

We contemplated shutting it down, but didn't. If it recurrs we might.

It does seem like someone is doing in on purpose, damn terrorists and griefers are always spoiling it for everyone else. Is there any hope something is gonna be done to stop this in the future or are we simply stuck with no choice but to wait for another ddos-attack basically living on the mercy of the person responsible?
As much as I want new world this shit is just disheartening and a dangerous precedent for the future of the game
