Did anyone met with their friends in-game?

Honestly what me and my buddies did was spawn, keep in mind what cardinal direction you walk in. Find the nearest body of water, look on the map. If you cannot see your location on the map teleport back to your hearthstone and go somewhere else. If after going all four directions you cannot find yourself make a new character and play the rng game. A couple of my friends ended up quitting after making 7+ characters. We got about 5 grouped up and the others are waiting to see if something is implemented to make it easier to meet up.
