Bats are annoying

I would really like them to change how bats spawn, like at least make them spawn away from hearth fire. Each time i go on there is always a group of bats right next to me so i can't do anything. And if people tell me to live outside, tried that before and i got robbed

I wish they wouldn't make so many decent items now because they take up so much damned inventory space.

They actually very easy to avoid. They don't bother me if I stay as far away as possible walking through a cave. I haven't been attacked yet.

Live outside, and get a claim, it may take time but until then just keep walking pick a direction and dont stop, level your lp until you have yeomanry, live off apples, plums, olives ect by the time you have yeo you should be far enough away to where it shouldnt be a problem, when I recently moved I had all my items laid out for a day and a half before I put my claim up, i am remote enough to where nothing was taken. havnt seen a sign of life in hours in any direction its nice, I enjoy it, cave dwelling is something you should prepare for first before actually attempting

I live in a cave, but my hearth fire is outside, and I make sure I log out outside the cave. There are some times it's awkward to go get stuff I want, but as I extend my (outside) claim, it is easier to store most things I need immediately outside.

tl;dr: It's easy for a noob like me who knows nothing about combat to live in a cave with bats.
