Three women and a wagon

Postby Eemerald » Mon Dec 07, 2015 4:43 am

This is going to be a series of posts about a wagon journey through the hearth lands with me, Amanda and LadyV.

Tonight we embarked on a road trip with our wagon, Amanda's prized quartz stones, and a pregnant cow.

The journey was turbulent, with Amanda deciding to take a back seat while I did all the driving, and meanwhile the pregnant cow leashed to her was getting stuck and then wandering off whilst Amanda was neglecting her parenting duty for the journey.

Surprisingly we didn't see many settlements as we had done in previous trips up and down visiting friends. we did however meet a lot of animals which none of us could kill, and chickens which blocked our damn wagon!

We realised along the way that we had no dreams to move hearthfires once we decided on a location to camp, we assumed we would eventually find some in some abandoned settlement but this was not the case, and so we built a dream quickly stuck it in the wagon until we were ready to head to bed.

We set a small claim, fenced in our animals for the night, even built a trough, and as I was filling the trough with random berries and edible things I could get from foraging, my game began to lag as I was typing to chat I misclicked and ended up back at my old hf about 4 hours away....this is why there are no screens at this point!

Amanda went looking for water and couldn't find her way back...luckily once she was reminded that she had built her hf unlike me, she was able to get back to our temporary stop!

LadyV managed to join us just before we logged off for the night, and so the journey continues tomorrow :)

I'm sure the others can do better story writing tomorrow, but wanted to start off the thread as I've always enjoyed reading and seeing the threads others have created about their journeys in the game.

Looking forward to reading more!

I just have one question... (please don't hit me)

If there are three women in a wagon, how do you know which one is the designated back seat driver? /duck

I tease, I tease! Us guys need someone in the car that will make sure we know where we are going!

it's ok. I won't hate on you:P

The good thing is, that we don't know where we are going, so we are all good :D

I do have to say my wagon driving skills are pretty awesome, if I do say so myself!
