The mighty walls of the village were strong
But jumped with a bug, they didn't last long
Vengence from the gods really stings
We can't have nice things

Mighty siege engines of war approach
On humble hermit camps they encroach
The lament of doom the sprucecap sings
We can't have nice things

Powerful beasts roam the hearthlands to slay
But trapped by a cliff they wither away
Hunters still cry for the loss of their slings
We can't have nice things

The good little hearthlings toil all day
digging the mines and collecting the hay
But nothing but coal the Santa brings
We can't have nice things

Jorb ventures into the world to play
RIP sweet prince, he fades away
The hearthlings rejoice in the death of their Kings
This is why can't have nice things

I hate poetry in general but this was definitely the only good poem in this thread.
