Was definitely a fun go.

Came back to test out HnH 2.0 (Hafen), whatever you want to call it.

Played for 1 week with about 8 friends; we've been murdered 4 times and had all our belongings destroyed (which was fun as well.) Don't mind a full-loot/permadeath system, but in a game with such a small population you would think the guy fully equipped would at the very least leave the trash items alone (chest of dandelions), but alas, the trolls here destroy cabinets with nothing but leeches in them in order to grief people off the server.

It is definately fun, but I have more than enough of trolls in ArcheAge.

Will come back and try again in a couple of years.

If you do come back, try travelling a few hours before setting up camp. Everybody spawns in the same 2-hour-wide region, so the further in one direction you go, the quieter things will be.

Search for havrn and hearth apxeolog map on google. Have a look at it and then abandon the starter area. If you are not there, just leave the area and walk a couple of hours till you find a swampy area without many neighbours. Most of the people is peacefull and even among the raiders griefing its not the rule.
I was raided yesterday and nothing happened. We rebuilded and worked in team with neighbours.
I even had 3 mps of people offering help.
Dont get a wrong idea because a pvp kiddo has trolled you.
