Technically, there are no "legal" sites to play poker on in the US unless you live in Nevada or New Jersey. (I think a couple other states have authorized legal online poker, though not necessarily other forms of gambling... I'd have to do some homework to find them.) I am not in one of those states... I'm in one of those states where poker is a "game of skill" and yet everyone that opens a poker hall gets shut down for "gambling." (God forbids to you compete with the state owned casinos.) I'm not saying this doesn't stop me or anything, but I just haven't found a good site since Poker Stars and Full Tilt got shut down... at least one I've felt comfortable making a deposit on.

But if anyone does want to play, we could all get on the same free site and play for chips or something so nobody feels a need to put up actual money.

Not even with fixed price? that should be legal.
I mean everybody puts,lets say, one dollar, 10 people, who win gets 10 dollars.

Betting with cash is illegal, not fixed price, I think.

EDIT: We cannot play poker without money, 1 dollar is the minimum.

The game itself (Witcher 3) is pretty cool! I really like graphics of the trees and forests, the serene landscapes of the game.
But the coolest thing is, that now it runs flawlessly on Linux!!
Valve released their "steamplay" yesterday. Which is basically wine and some other things, but its very easy to use (just launch the game) and works for many games that usually only support windows.

I agree that it's not the same. People just play differently when real money is at stake, even if it's just penny games. People get crazy loose when it's just "poker chips."
