Appeal to Faceless Men

Postby Ysh » Mon Aug 22, 2016 6:30 pm

Hello again to you many of my friends here,

I am like to make open letter to faceless men on forum. I think this is large issue we do suffer here, and I am sure many of you faced and faceless men have similar concern to it as me. This disparity of classes. It can not be just thing I am notice I think. So I am going to say what some other are maybe thinking to giving some voice to these voiceless. You do not need to fear these men and your thoughts of them, it can be a natural thing definite.

To faceless men I can say that I think you can become faced quite easily. It is not some special privilege to have a face here for your postings at all. You can go to and upload your face with some steps as these:
  • Log in to friend account on forum
  • In top left sections, click linker says "Profile" or this linker here I think can work too
  • Clicking top tab for again ''Profile'' tab on controlling panel or clicked this linker
  • Clicked button on left for ''Edit Avatar'' or of course use linker
  • Now you will press this button ''Choose File'' to upload image of your face from computer
  • Navigate to face repository on drive and select your face
Do note there is some restriction on face here. Face must be certain size, 90px by 90px or fewer. And certain weight of face too, no heavier than 19.91 KiB. Also there is some ''not jorb's face'' policy for forum as outlined here:

No, but it is a forum with a (very) loose "not jorb's face"-policy.

Worth noting here as well is that there is no ''own face policy'' so you can be free to use other face than your own as long as it is not jorb face.

I think to walk around with no face is not a stigma you must required to bear. We will welcome you into faced fold and hope you can be joining us. It is not difficult for performing as described above. To have face is giving you more ability for discussing with postings on the forum with all the friends, which is desired feature for certain. It is probably lowest cost highest gain benefit action you could be taking at this moment's present if you are current faceless status. I hope you do consider this one. And for all the men who do have face current, please use thread to voice support to the friend who will gain face.

Thanks to you all for this consideration.

I think that having a face is very good thing. To be honest, I faceless forum men are on par for me as boars I kill in game.

On a side note: I would ask for your oppinion as a dear friend of mine Ysh - should I maybe change my forum face? Im growing a bit bored of it.

Yes, I find it hard for me to keep track of different user when they have no face. I associate face with poster more than his name.

In general I think men can keep the same face. To change your forum face is like to change your face in the real live. Maybe it can be accepted in moderation, but it can be jarring to the peer. I also happen to like your current face.

I always thought of Ysh's forum profile picture as a literal depiction of himself. Fascinating post Ysh.

Yes. I actually have the same hairstyle, minus the color, and wide-rimmed glasses. Hadn't really thought about that.

A picture may be worth a thousand words but not all of the words are right.
You laugh at me because I am different. I laugh at you because you are all the same.
