Brodgar's coat of arms contest - WE HAVE A WINNER!

After two months of existence Brodgar still has no symbol. Our village banners are plain, our shields are pure wood and even our discord symbol is the letter B. Since any respectful village nowadays has a coat of arms, we thought of organizing a contest to decide about the new symbol of the glorious city of Brodgar!

What do we want? A 512x512 image composed preferably of Haven's painting colors which is easily reproductible in-game. The image must be adaptable not only to village banners, shields, capes and tabards but also to variations of the symbol (local guilds, army, etc).
Who can participate? Anyone.
What is the prize? Two gold bars.
How do I participate? Reply this thread with your submission.
Until when can I participate? May 2, 18:00 UTC.
Who will decide the winner? There will be a vote open to Brodgarians only with all the submissions.

A few brief ideas for your submission:

* Brodgar has been considering swans as a heraldic element. Our currency is named the "feather". The city straddles a river.
* Brodgar is afaik uniquely in the hearthlands an open city, with all this entails, good and bad. Individual self-determination and initiative, with its freedom, challenge, and necessary enterprising spirit, is often important here. Symbolism related to this would be nifty, imho, and I'll be voting on the designs .

Finally, Brodgar always welcomes visitors to take a look around, it might help you get some ideas for your submission. You can birth an "alt" character if you would to take a look. Here's a link to the instructions for how to do that.

I take it you want someone to design a whole series of symbols that could be adjusted to various purposes in hafen colours just for two bars of gold? Jordan Coles offered a whole token for someone to convert ready image into vector.

Yeah, you might be right: 1.5-2$ for 10 hours of work of a designer is a fair price. I mean, why would you earn 50-100 dollars, while you could make 2?

I understand the prize of 2 gold bars might not be appealing to richer and more advanced players, but this is what the city can afford. This is supposed to be a fun contest for Haven, aimed at newbies or veterans who support the cause - not a professional design competition.

We are not looking for a "whole series of symbols", we just want a single 512x512 image. And certainly we're not looking for something that would take 10 hours of work.

Oh. But you are giving the whole series of symbolism, adjustability, sketchability thing. That takes time, thought and design. The max. you would get is someone finding a random google image and cropping it. If that is what you are after, so you should have said so! How is what you have suggested any fun to someone who does not care about Brodgar (as in not a villager)
