Why would you get yelled at for that? It's how you make sure all the crops are getting the maximum speed boost + benefitting the hive. Why wouldn't you want that?

literally nothing in this game is a circle other than shitty radii, they're as out of place as diagonal roads

Because it's inefficient. A beeskep can only pollinate 50 crops max at a time, which takes approximately six hour to recharge. (I'm assuming mechanics haven't changed.)

I like circles, too. i don't like slow crops.

So far all crops are at the same stage, though. IF some fall behind i'll revert back to shitty square farms but i love seeing giant circles on the map so if Beeskeps are back to being not-shit i'll cover the landscape in circlefarms.
(The circle has much more than 50 crops, at the very least)

edit: I really really hope the mechanics HAVE changed, i hate having a bazillion skeps.
