They seeded the entire world with bugged items with flotsams

They had 24 hours to mass drop items in the water which if looted through flotsams will allow them or their allies to quickly rebuild the bugged industries.
this world is buggered unless the devs can hunt each individual industry starting item (axes, saws, blocks of wood etc) down. doubtful.

Nice try at playing chicken little, but I think the devs have had a bit of foresight on this.

Or are you saying you found something in the flotsam and are assuming there's tons more of it to be found?

edit: I should probably close this or merge with viewtopic.php?f=39&t=65334#p827674, but am curious as if it has a specific direction or just a "sky is falling" type response.

They just alt-vaulted or moved anything they wanted lol, who cares about some q20 axes having funny %'s on them in the wild giving insane FEP multipliers on anything they touch. It was dumb to give a 24 hour warning for them to alt-vault everything, but whatever.

This is what I'm thinking. Maybe they panicked, though, and dumped stuff if they thought they'd get their protected alt caught. Maybe those funky axes were a part of the puzzle? It's hard to say. Why it'd end up q20, though... seems strange as you'd think base quality on the trees used to make it would be significantly higher and you could get much better q stone, but maybe they didn't want to dump it for fear of someone spotting it earlier and alerting jorbtar. All I can do is speculate. But if my speculation gets someone to try something with one of these odd items and discover something that shouldn't be, it's one more piece of the puzzle to solve the bug.
