Radio show host Art Bell is the original Area 51 conspiracy guy, not Rogan. Bell originally broadcast from Las Vegas radio station KDWN. Rogan is a Johnny-come-lately to aliens and all of the other stuff packaged for conspiracies; Roswell crash site, reptile people, men in black, anti-gravity propulsion, zero point energy, Tesla experiments. Bell started off with a Sunday night show called "Dreamland" back in like 1995. Art used to put shills on the radio pretty often, it was great listening, but wholly fabricated bullshit. All of this happened during the X-Files era / Babylon 5, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager TV serials. The 90's were an awesome time for sci-fi fiction fans. I loved Art Bell, he was a great radio host, but I never believed any of his crackpot stuff. Do yourself a favor, enjoy it, but don't fall for it. It's 98.9% fantasy mixed with just enough 'real' to make it seem plausible.
Raiding Area 51 is an idiotic idea. It's all underground sans the airfield and a few aircraft hangers. You won't even get close to what used to be called "Freedom Ridge." It's all monitored with IR, video and audio tech since Bell outed this stuff back in the mid 90's. The government have fast reaction teams that will swoop down on anyone getting within miles of the ridge. It's all sage brush desert. I've spend a pretty good amount of time in that area of Nevada / Death Valley and the only thing I've seen there are military jets on training runs - that in itself is very cool - but it ain't aliens.
This is what bum-rushing Area 51 looks like: https://www.dreamlandresort.com/area51/ ... ridge.html
SPOILER: He gets shot down at 8:51
Famous Area 51 call in - the guy is a shill. https://archive.org/details/ArtBellPilotOverArea51
This show is typical conspiracy stuff. Hoagland is the guy who used to say there was an intelligently constructed "face" and city on the surface of Mars:
