Russian H&H what is this (oh it's rogalia)

I found some video about a russian haven and hearth and I wonder what you guys know about it.
From an obvious first glance I can tell this is probably cancer, but I am curious to know what it even is, if there is any sort of redeemable quality to it, is it alive, or if there is any way English people can get into it.

This video was from something called AGDG Embassy S01-E08.webm, agdg stands for amateur game dev general but for a Russian version of 4chan I think.

Apparently this should be OLD news, so if its already dead, rip in peace to that.

Yea it remember seeing that thread, but I remember it being way more tame, but its the same, and that dev blogpost does have some very cool development pictures.

I was thinking it started off with the final graphics (first image I posted), then started replaced the graphics with more cartoony ones (the rest).

I guess this is a false alarm, oh well.
