Listen up folks, for here is my short, but a very enlightening story about a little hearthling Loony and a cold cruel Cave.
Act 1: Loony mines carelessly and gets BONKED on the head by the Cave's ceiling:

Act 2: Loony tries to dig his way out of this stone prison:

Act 3: Yet another BONK by the Cave.

And the morale is: If you ever wish to go mining, you'd better bring either a hard helmet or a thick skull. Preferably both.

To WrexingDrew: Nah, at that point I still had enough fight in me to survive that leech therapy I tried to heal all my swollen bumps(the third avalance would definetly kill me though).
Meanwhile in the Hearth: today I had the most peculiar meeting with another hearthling. I was on my usual gathering routine, when I decided to hearth back home and empty my pockets, and that's when I met a naked guy running around in circles inside my base as if they were waiting for me. Turns out that Jester(that's the name of the fella) was one of the many hearthlings who were brought into this world just to see it being born. After which he just ran to a random field and went back into non-existence. And it so happened that I built my house on that very field. Pretty lucky of me, huh? So after Jester decided to finally start existing again, he found himself trapped inside my palisade. Then we had a little chat about that new ailment that have spreaded across the swamps recently, and I opened the gates for him.

And then he wished me good luck and just vanished again. What a guy.

The more people I meet, the more friendly faces I remember, the more I'm sure it was a good decision to hop into this world at it's start.
So today I finally saw one of my neighbors that settled to the northwest. Clovis II told me that they've been waiting to talk to me for a long time. We exchanged welcoming gifts and went back to our buisness. I even feel strange that so far it's only been biscuits and gravy about hearthlings I met. I guess I was just overly paranoid after all.

So funny story, I've been sharing* a distant mining cave with another unknown hearthling(s?) *Read: have been stealing ore from a vein they found for quite some time, but one of days I come in and see this gorgeous man of a troll wandering around piles of fallen rocks that used to be a mining site. Have to say, I freaked out a little when I noticed their presence. Even this pictures I made from a respectable distance to not in any way be noticed by the ancient one.
