Perhaps I shouldn't post this because Jorb might think it's a good idea to add extra steps to rope making

Hahahahaha what do you mean man? He's just imitating reality. Making it more obnoxious and tedious is just an unintended side effect, that's all.

man, I think swinging hammers and beating iron into shape looks easier.
