Since starting out is too easy, palisades not only use variable material coloration, but their HPs are absolute negative affected based on the highest block bonus as used in the smoker.

Also, snakes are wily and can get into anything, so now ignore palisades.

Global warming : Increase every time someone light a fire of some kind. Cause water to gradually rise. Submerged stuff are destroyed, leaving floating debris.

New boat : Platform boat. Can build on it. Modular. Can only be made once there is only 10% or less non-submerged land.

New fish : Sharks. Randomly bite platform boats.

perc and dex malus wound on piking up itsy bitsy spiderwebs
spiders itself wound with poisonous bites akin snakes on pickup,
all buildings have windows, midges can enter buildings, only towers are save cause glass,
random burnwounds on cooking, decreased chance by cooking skill but never 0
magpies and doves increased spawn near population centres. higher item detection from magpies, wild doves spread birdlung
increase time it takes too smelt ore based on how many smelters are around any given smelter, adding bellows too smelters same concept for spitroasts,
bellowing and turning spits, caps products, based on cooking+con and mining+smithing
adding chance too mine out ancient midges, slower than normal midges,wont despawn like trolls adding new wound"forgotten fever" worse than normal swampfever, adding cure in around 1 to 6 patches, made out of amber, batrock, and mammothtusks

Waterskins can no longer go to belts, only waterflasks can. You can equip one waterskin holstered under your arm as compensation.

You now need to put down whatever is in your hands before you can interact with objects ie plows, carts, pottery wheels, etc

Rats can periodically find their way into cupboards, granaries, etc where they will eat away at anything they can get their hands on, so you have to check for them regularly.

You can get stung by a bee when you go to harvest your w- wait this one's real lol

Eating too much in a short time will give gluttony/obesity damage that affect all stats
Repetitive tasks give sore muscle damage
Mandatory sleep minimum hours per day or you will suffer insomnia that decreases intelligence
Miners are at risk of developing a lung disease due to exposure to airborne mine dust.
Introduce ability to poison weapons to make even lower lvl players potentially dangerous
Toons now age and will eventually die automatically regardless of stats
Add food/resource spoilage
Ability to curse items that will hurt thieves when stolen
Armor has weight and slow fighters compared to unarmored players

lets start with something basic
rivers shouldnt cut throu cleanly through giant swamps. the swamps cut through the river, would make more sence, look better, and create roadblocks for everything other than dugoutes

Whenever navigating through a house full of cupboards (or other furniture) or whenever passing through a door you have a chance to get a "broken pinky-toe" wound that makes your character roll on the floor in pain for several minutes and then you get -10% agi until healed. Chance is 100% if you're not wearing shoes.
