Pepper and truffles still have the same effect on all foods. You don't need to check them with all 600k to see the results, you can just predict it.

this only matters to the meta slaves competing. the average hermit barely goes over 300 stats it doesn't matter to them, a large variety to play around with is a good thing due to what little content this game has.

How many people pick curios with lower LP/H when there is a same effort alternative? Even casuals don't want to feel like they're wasting their effort.

It's the game's job to make the """correct""" way to play fun. It's not fun to search through a database so large the human brain literally (literally) cannot comprehend it, just to pick out a dozen or so good recipes.
