it is single-player HNH now

Two hours ago, there were still many players playing HNH.

Now is a great time for players who like single-player HNH to join.
A big world is waiting for you.

That notice is how many are playing right then. That can be a quite different number a few hours earlier or later. But for people who don't wish to deal with all the griefing and danger of early world, waiting four or five months before starting gives a relatively peaceful game; and for newcomers, starting this late is a good way to learn the game.

But for me, other than having people to talk to in chat, Haven is a single player game. Given the PvP aspect it is "better safe than sorry" so I eschew any random contacts with other players; you never know who might be a friend and who might kill you on sight.
