Are Mystic and Wandering Sage as bad as they look?

I play a explorer/traveler character for my village. Foraging, fishing, finding resource nodes, fetching high q stuff from long distances, trading etc.

I'm struggling to figure out the credos that will help me..

I went straight for Nomad because I love the expanded inventory. And what seems to 'fit' me thematically doesn't look like it does a lot of good. What's the point of all that EXP? Should I just go for Scholar instead?

Credos bad.

It is bad as long as You take it very seriously and try to sonic speed it.

I mean are the bonuses bad, not the quests.

I never said I would sonic speed it, I just wanna know what steps to take credowise from here.

Mystic is useful for cave hermit, trolls are very nice. The earlier you do mystic, the better. But if you don't plan on doing cave hermit, don't bother with mystic.

Wandering sage is 100% pointless and useless and nobody does it, unless it's for the memes. So don't even bother with that one.

Try getting pearl diver, that will be useful for your village.
Also if you hunt for your village, get strider.

Wandering meme is not worth getting ever at this point.

What about levelling wells? I always imagined Wandering Sage was the credo to get massive amounts of EXP for that.

What about the other EXP sinks? Like spamming Gilding Song.

you use kingdom exp for that

you use kingdom exp for that

What if you had a really convenient questgiver layout and you had 2-3 people constantly at quest cap. Is the local resource bonus not that strong?

What about scholar? That will be a little tough to get to from Nomad (50 quests for Farmer, 60 for Gardener, 70 for Quarryman and 80 for Scholar.. yikes.. nvm, I probably won't ever get there.. maybe just aim to get Gardener
