How to heal serious wounds?

How do you cure the more serious wounds, like 'blunt trauma'?

If I recall correctly you had to use a bandage made of wool in the Legacy Haven (old HnH), but I can't confirm that it works like that in Hafen

Yeah, Ive lost some HHP from ants... and with no leaches i'm not sure what to do.
