How slow is healing, or am i doing something wrong?

I have some minor injuries ("This wound will probably heal itself"), and the rate at which my hhp regenerates seems much slower than it did a couple days ago... How slow is the rate, and is there any way to speed it up? Thanks!

Speculation is that not enough energy will slow healing rates. If it's not green, get it up there with high energy foods like Rat on a Stick.

yes, its very green - keeping it at 5000 or just below!
guess i just have to wait ^^
