Heavy dirt into metal

So i've fired a total of 125 heavy dirt, to get metal. So far i've gotten 1 metal bar. But i saw screenshot of people burning other ore, getting alot better results. Can we assume that some ore give better yields then others?

Yes, its always been like this. Different ores yield vastly different results. In Haven 1.0 firing a smelter full of Silver would usually yield maybe 5 nuggets, gold would yield 2 nuggets, and Copper would yield like 20 bars.

With Malachite we've been yielding about an 8% success rate.

Im smelting Iron Orche, and im getting 1-2 bars per batch,when smelting tin got 2-3 bars

yep coal veins in cave

and now im fucked because bats and cant mine anything
