Terraforming hell

Any recommendations for disposing of loads of soil?

Probably dig it up and then terraform somewhere else to make it flat? That's what we did.

I don't think there's any "good" solution other than making mounds if you have nothing you want to raise. Kinda realistic in that sense I guess?

You are gonna regret dropping it in water when you need to raise a platform to be even with your house or w/e...

On the subject of terraforming, anyone know if is there a way to turn sand (terrain, not item) into useful, buildable land? I tried raising it with Survey (thinking that maybe by raising it with dirt I'd transform it into dirt) but it's still sand... lol

Water it is.
And I seriously doubt I'll need that much soil, dropping everything in my base to cave level
