I mean, I got an absolute boat load of moves/cards off them before it seemed to dry up. I still get the odd one from them too, it's just a lot less common.

Possible, but that's an odd system considering some people get nice IP moves off ants, others don't. If that is how it works, some people may just never find the moves they need for combat lol.

You'd have to have grade A bad luck honestly to not get at least one of every move.

I dried up ants, and only have 1/4 of the IP moves noted in this thread. I've dried up bats as well.

Meanwhile have 5 copies of take aim.

I keep getting punch and the basic blocks from boars :(
Would be nice to know how this system works at least, is the relative ua claim based on something that jorb/loftar has said?
also do we *know* that there are some moves that you can only get from certain animals?

No, there is not nessicarily animal specific moves. But in my testing, what moves you use while fighting an animal determines what moves you unlock. If you only ever use the most basic attacks/defenses you won't progress.

I had to suffer through the horrific CD of haymaker and using jump before I unlocked knock his teeth, after which I then got kick from knock. I imagine it works the same way for chop/mc related moves. In the same vien, after I used take aim/the ip defenses then I unlocked the better ones of them. Now I have the green/yellow and blue/red defenses which are amazing.

Odd, in my experience I just kept cheesing bats and ants. My belief is that each animal has a set amount of moves they can give you. I just spammed defensives until I got all the moves I could get from ants and bats.
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.

Sure hope it doesn't work like that if you also eventually run out of moves you can pull from an animal. I'm absolutely screwed if so XD

I'll mix up my moves a bit and see if I start getting discoveries again.

I was also wondering if it was a similar system to experiences, where you can't get them *too* often - so after you get a few each day you can't get any more?
As long as its not possible to limit your character's POSSIBLe discoveries due to not knowing the system, I'm fine with it :p
