Wells, Sand, Stone

Postby nickh47 » Wed Sep 16, 2015 11:47 pm

I have made a divining rod and it has taken me in circles all over the place, everytime i take 3 steps it points in a different direction. I start following the pie slice away from the point, i think thats how youre supposed to do it, and it changes random direction all the time. Looked around everywhere and havent seen any water tiles on the ground, what do i do?
Also i have tried to dig sand in every sand area that ive come across and nothing happens, selecting dig option and tried right/left clicking on sand everywhere and nothing, same applies to stone. Ive tried digging stone on mountains and small stone patches and nothing. I have stone working btw, what am i missing? Need new skills now to dig sand and stone or what??

They are water regions now, not a visible tile. Just gotta spam place the well to find it. Rod will give off random signals until you get close to an area. Some bugs reported with it.

Can't dig on sand atm, not entirely sure why.

Can't quarry mountains yet, that's been mentioned as something they will implement though.

So its not possible to get sand right now? No glass?
Also ive seen holes in the small stone patches that occur how do i get stone from those?

glass is made with soil atm

same answer as mountains, quarrying isn't in game yet. Not sure why but I see those holes myself occasionally.

Same as quarrying stone: not implemented yet.

edit: post a SS of the hole, please.

I'd suspect he's talking about something like this. I'd wondered the same myself, but it seems like these happen naturally on stone pretty commonly.
