Bows in PVP

HI GUYS !
I have a complaint :( Please help me figure this out

Almost all PK *Player Killer*s are going around with bows and just shooting arrows like crazy hoping for a hit and well ... it makes pvp really lame I dont know everything about the game yet but right now here is how i see things for pvp.

*My Bow hits for arround 280-310 on Animals so unless a player as mad HP (+armor), 1 arrow and he is dead*

VS Melee
1- Shots from close combat are almost 100% hit chance without charging much or without charging at all
2- Melee hits doesnt cancel charging the bow
3- You can have defenses up while charging your bow.
4- Unless I am not aware of it, bows goes through all defenses

VS Ranged
1- Spam Shots until you are hit or you hit the other player
2- depending on luck you might die or they might...
3- Barely Charging your arrow and clicking next to your enemy at long range almost gives you a better chance of hitting them *Worth a try if they have high AGI*

Others
Having Criminal Acts and Rage with Bows makes it so that you can try and kill your enemies without leaving scent or initiating combat until you hit (most likely kill) them.
*In other words someone without Rage cannot retaliate unless he is hit by an arrow*

Anyway thats all I can think of right now plz comment and help me enjoy pvp :D

That was fixed in the last patch. Bows now deal a % of their damage based on how much they've been charged.

Bows were OP due to their use point blank. You could zig zag run all you'd like, it wouldn't stop you from taking 200+ damage to the face twice a second.

Devs indeed, should do something to bows in melee. Or, somehow make arrow shots having a special attack type (strike?) Anyways, there always been argues about how archery should work in Hnh, Jorb still gonna do whatever on his mind.

Can someone also tell me if melee attacks (like punch) do interrupt your aim bar? Does it works even through defensive moves?
The only reason im not really worried about archers this world is range (indisputably sucks). Still gotta be careful about random shots.

Hits don't interrupt the aim bar and archery ignores all defensive moves. Now that they need to charge up the aim bar you can actually avoid shots by moving around them.
Archery damage is still pretty insane considering how it'll grow with higher q bones, wood, and string. I can't say how competitive the metal industry will be in terms of quality growth yet, as that's something that remains to be seen.

Hits reduce it by half.
