remove plants

anyone else realize you can get rid of plants that have crap quality by building a trellis over them then destroy the trellis? just tried it on a carrot (stupid stockpiling fail)
i just realized this today >>

instead of waiting a week to get rid of a pumpkin... i could just spend 3blocks and a string to remove it

could be used to destroy another players crops, i don't think there are any rules against building a trellis on someone elses land :3
